We are happy to introduce a new functionality - Group Calls. From now on, it is possible to host meetings for many participants! Besides, we focused on updating Invitation Page and call layout, improving the recording feature, screen drawing, and overall user experience. Group Calls
Using Group Calls functionality is as easy as traditional 1:1 calls. When you create a case, decide if you want to invite more people to attend. If so - copy the link and send it to your guests!
And how does it look from the guests’ perspective? On the Invitation page, they enter their names, accept the Terms & Conditions (remember you can upload your documents!) and ask to join. As a host, you have complete control over accepting and rejecting those who want to join your appointment.
Updated call layout & Invitation Page
With the introduction of Group Calls, we also updated the call layout for operators and guests. As an operator, you will find snapshots, drawing, and zoom under the Tools button. You can also open the participants list or change the camera and microphone settings during the meeting.
As always, your guests land on the Invitation page before joining the meeting. Now, they can test the video and microphone, change the settings, and select another microphone/camera.
Improved chat experience
Sending files, images, or even gifs during your video meeting? You can hide the chat window or keep it open during the conversation, depending on your preferences. We've changed its position and size, making it easier for you to keep up with the discussion!
Recording improvements
Whether it's only a couple of minutes or a full meeting - we give you complete control over recording. Previously it started automatically. Now, you decide what and when you want to record. From internal meetings to coaching sessions or remote damage assessment, use the recording feature to your and your client's advantage!
Screen drawing
Use this feature during video calls to keep your guests focused and make your presentations easy to remember! Now you can add markups regardless of the call layout. Screen drawing is available when:
- The operator’s video is in focus
- The customer’s video is in focus
