1. Set up Vicodo subdomain
To set up your subdomain, start by enabling the feature in the Custom domain tab of the Branding settings. Click on the toggle below the header 1. Vicodo subdomain.
A dialogue window will appear, where you enter the name of the subdomain. It can only contain the following elements:
- small letters
- numbers
- dash “-”

1. If you choose the name that is already taken, you will see the following notification: 2. If you entered the name of your subdomain and you see the notification, This link is not available, please check the spelling. Your subdomain may contain blocklisted words - contact us to finalize the setup process. |
Once you entered the name, click the Save button. Now it may take a while until the subdomain is deployed.

If you have entered the unsupported elements into the domain name, such as underscore " _ ", the deployment process will not be finalized. Please delete the subdomain and start over the setup process. |
It may take a while until the subdomain is activated. Once the process is complete, you will see that the toggle turned green and the status will change to Connected.
From now on, Invitation links and the link to your booking page will contain the subdomain, for example:
https://mycompany.vicodo.com/invitation/62961258bd237f3a2540
2. Edit Vicodo subdomain

You can only edit the subdomain after its first version is deployed! |
If you want to edit your subdomain, go to the Custom domain tab of the Branding settings. Here, click on the Edit button. A dialogue window will appear where you can apply changes. Before you do so, remember that:
- Your Vicodo invitations and booking links will be no longer available at the subdomain name you are about to change!
- All email notifications that have been sent to users from your Vicodo subdomain will now contain broken links!
If you are sure, you want to edit the subdomain, enter the new name and click Save to confirm changes.
Applying the changes may take a while. Once the process is finalized, you will see the new subdomain name under Your unique subdomain section, and the status will change to connected.

If you want to edit the subdomain of your custom domain, you have to go through steps 1 and 2 of your custom domain configuration. Once the changes are deployed, you will be able to edit the subdomain. |
3. Disable Vicodo subdomain
To disable Vicodo subdomain go to the Custom domain tab of the Branding settings. Click on the toggle below the 1. Vicodo subdomain header. The dialogue window will appear where you have to confirm your choice.
Remember that disabling Vicodo subdomain has the following consequences:
- Your Vicodo invitations and booking links will be no longer available at the subdomain name you are about to disable.
- All email notifications that have been sent to users from your Vicodo subdomain will now contain broken links.
If you are sure you want to proceed, click the Yes, disable button.
After you disabled the subdomain, you have to wait a couple of minutes before you enable it once again.

If you decide to use your subdomain again, click on the toggle so it turns green. Automatically your last subdomain will be connected. The process may take a while. If you want to edit the subdomain name, please wait until you see the status Connected. |
4. Delete Vicodo subdomain
If you don’t want to use your subdomain and wish to remove the data permanently, you can use the Delete option instead of Disable. Also, if you made a typo while entering your subdomain or the error occurred, you can delete the subdomain and start the setup process from the very beginning.
To delete Vicodo subdomain, go to the Custom domain tab of the Branding settings. Click the Delete button.
The dialogue window will appear where you have to confirm your choice. The process may take a while. If the subdomain is not deleted after 24h, you may contact our support.
