Your security is our priority. Enabling Two-Factor Authentication makes your Vicodo account even more secure. Each time you log in to the application, you will receive a unique temporary code that will allow you to proceed. This reduces the risk that unwanted parties will enter your account.
How to enable Two-Factor Authentication
Go to the Password & Security tab in your Profile settings. Click the blue Enable Two-Factor Authentication button. A dialogue window will appear where you can choose how would you like to receive an authentication code:
Regardless of your choice, you will have to confirm the action by entering your current password. In the next steps, follow the instructions dedicated to the setup you’ve chosen.
1. Receive the authentication codes via email
If you've chosen to receive codes via email, you will now have to enter the code that we’ve sent to the address you used to create your Vicodo account. Type in or paste it into the dialogue window:
After entering the code, you will receive an email with the confirmation. From now on, every time you log in, besides email and password, you will be asked to enter the temporary code that we will send to you.
|
If you didn’t receive a message within a minute, click resend email. |
2. Get the authentication codes from your authenticator app
If you've chosen to access codes from your authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Twilio Authy, Microsoft Authenticator, 1password + more…) you will see a dialogue window with the QR code.
Please scan it with your mobile phone or enter the key manually into your app. Once done, the authentication code will appear in your authenticator app - enter it into the Vicodo dialogue window. Next, you will receive an email with the confirmation.
From now on, every time you log in, besides email and password, you will be asked to enter the temporary code from your authenticator application.

In case you have no access, or you’ve lost access to your email inbox or authenticator app and you want to log into Vicodo, please contact us! |
How to disable Two-Factor Authentication
To turn off Two-Factor Authentication go to the Password & Security tab in your Profile settings. You will see the current authentication method and next to it - the Disable button. Click on it.
The dialogue window opens, where we ask you to enter your password and save changes by clicking on the Confirm button. You will receive an email with information that Two-Factor Authentication was successfully disabled.
