Vicodo doesn't require installation on your and your customers' devices - it means that meetings open directly in the browsers. In this article, you will find a list of supported browsers and recommended practices, so you and your customers can enjoy uninterrupted appointments!
Remember! If your customer can't access the meeting or reports problems with doing so, you may ask about the browser they use. If it is not supported, we display a pop-up with the recommendation to use Google Chrome. You may also remind users to follow our hints. |

Best practices:
1. Add the Test your browser button to the Invitation page.
If you add the button, your customers will be able to test their browsers in advance. It will allow them to prepare for a meeting, giving the required permissions to the microphone and camera. We notify customers that Vicodo needs access only for the duration of your call.
If access to the camera or microphone is denied - customers will see the following information:
Depending on the browser and device they use, customers may see a pop up that allows granting access right away without digging into the settings. If it doesn’t appear, they can always go to our Help center by clicking a link. They will be redirected to the article we’ve prepared especially for them. It contains a list of links to Security & Privacy instructions for all supported browsers so that they can follow the steps recommended by their providers.
To enable the Test your browser button, go to the Invitation page text in the Branding tab.
2. If the camera is not available or not detected on the device you or your customer use, you will not be able to run a meeting. In this case, we recommend using an external camera, for example, connected by USB.
3. Choose a stable internet connection for the best video and audio quality.
