Enabling the Get location feature in Vicodo doesn’t guarantee that you receive coordinates right away. The result always depends on the customer’s decision as well as the browser and system settings on their device. Your customer may see the following notification:

What a customer should do if there’s an error “Access denied” from the very beginning
- MacOS
Safari/Firefox
1. Open System Preferences
2. Open Security & Privacy
3. Open Privacy tab
4. Click the lock to manage changes and enter your password if needed
5. Turn on the option “Enable Location Services”
(If Locations Services are on but you still see an error make sure that Safari or Firefox are not deselected on the list) - iOS
Safari/Chrome
1. Open phone Settings
2. Open Privacy
3. Open Location Services
4. Turn on the Location Services if they are off
5. Tap on Safari Websites or Chrome
6. Pick “Ask next time” or “While Using the App” - Windows 10
Microsoft Edge
1. Open Settings
2. Open Privacy
3. Open Location from the left panel
4. If “Allow access to location on this device” is off then click on “Change” and then click on the toggle switch to turn it on
5. If “Allow apps to access your location” is off, click on the toggle switch to turn it on
6. If the toggle switch next to Microsoft Edge is off, click on it to turn it on - Android
1. Open phone settings
2. Find “location” options
3. Turn on “Allow my location” on this device
What a customer should do if they accidentally click on “Deny” on the pop-up asking for the location
Refresh the page. If the pop-up doesn’t appear, follow these steps:
- MacOS/Windows
Chrome/Opera:
1. Click on the padlock icon in the address bar
2. Select “Allow” next to Location - macOS/Windows
Firefox:
1. Click on the padlock icon in the address bar
2. Click on “x” next to “Location denied” to remove it - macOS
Safari:
1. Open Safari Preferences
2. Open Website tab
3. Open Location
4. Change permission to “Allow” on Vicodo page - Android
Chrome:
1. Tap on the padlock icon in the address bar
2. Tap on “Site settings”
3. Tap on “Location permission” and change it to “Allow” - iOS
Safari:
1. Tap on the AA icon on the left side of the address bar
2. Tap on “Website Settings”
3. Tap on “Location” and change it to “Allow” - iOS
Chrome:
1. Open phone Settings
2. Open Privacy
3. Open Location Services
4. Tap on Chrome
5. Pick “Ask next time” or “While Using the App”
