We value your and your customers' privacy; that's why Vicodo doesn't collect, store or ask about the location. We, however, understand that in some cases location verification process is necessary to proceed. The Get location feature allows, for example, insurance companies to confirm that damage occurred on a particular place reported by the client.
You can enable the feature if you have an Enterprise subscription.
How can I verify the location, if necessary?
You can ask your customers to share their GPS coordinates, so you can confirm the damage localization.
To do so, go to settings by clicking the icon. You will access the General settings tab.
Scroll down until you find the Get customer location section. Click on the toggle, so it turns green. To confirm, click Save.
Now, on the dashboard, a button will appear - Get location. Click on it during the meeting. A pop-up on the browser will notify the customer about your request. They can always decide whether to allow or block sharing their GPS coordinates.
If verifying location is necessary for your business, add this information in Terms&Conditions that customers have to accept before they start a meeting.
Once you see coordinates, you can click on them, and you will be redirected to Google Maps.
