Most countries require online businesses to inform users how their data is collected, used, and stored, and what are the rules that regulate the relationship between users and a service provider. These regulations are known as the Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.
With Vicodo, you can give your customers access to both documents and require them to confirm that they are familiar with your Terms & Conditions before the appointment begins or before they book a meeting. Why is that important? For example, if you are responsible for remote damage assessment, you may need to record or take screenshots during the call. Make sure that your customers understand in what ways the company is going to use their private data and how it will be protected. By default, your customers are presented with Vicodo Privacy Policy.

If you work with customers from the European Union, you have to fulfill the GDPR requirements. |
Can I add custom Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy to Vicodo?
-
Privacy Policy
To add your company's Privacy Policy, click the icon and go to settings. You will immediately land in the Global tab. Scroll down until you find the Link to your Privacy Policy label. Below, there’s a space where you can paste a link to your company’s regulations.
After you paste a link, click the Save button to confirm the changes.
Customers can access the Privacy Policy from the Invitation page, Booking page, and Thank you page.
-
Terms & Conditions
You can decide if your customers have to accept the Terms & Conditions before a call or booking an appointment. By default this feature is disabled.
Go to the Global tab in settings. Scroll down until you find the Customer must accept the Terms and Conditions toggle and click to enable the feature. Additional space will appear below, where you can paste a link to your company’s Terms & Conditions.
After you enable this feature, your customers will have to accept Terms & Conditions on the Invitation page before they will be allowed to join the meeting.
Also, accepting Terms & Conditions will be required before scheduling a meeting on the Booking page.
