Calendar Connect is a powerful feature that makes scheduling appointments frictionless. This two-way integration between your external calendar (Google Calendar, Microsoft 365, Exchange, Apple Calendar + many more) and Vicodo prevents booking conflicts and constant rescheduling. No more switching between tabs to see if you or your teammates are available! Integrate Vicodo with your calendar and get immediate updates of your availability.
No coding skills are needed - it takes only a couple of clicks to configure the integration. Thanks to Calendar Connect, you will see all of the planned events in your Vicodo Calendar and your external calendar without having to input them twice.
1. Set up the integration
Enterprise subscribers can integrate more than one account connected to the calendar.
Go to Integrations settings and choose the Calendars tab. Click the + Connect calendar button or Sign in with Google if you want to synchronize Vicodo with your Google Calendar.
After you choose the account you want to synchronize, you need to mark all the checkboxes, to enable the integration. Proceed, to finish the setup.
If you use a calendar from a different provider than Google, you will be asked to enter the email address of the account that you would like to synchronize.
The list of providers will appear. If your provider is not featured on the main list, scroll down and click See all providers. After you choose one from the list, enter the password.

To synchronize Apple Calendar you have to use App specific password. To learn more, read this article. |
After successful integration, you can finish the setup in Vicodo.
All events from your external calendar and external calendars of other operators that decided to use this integration are marked as Blockers. They are displayed as gray slots on the Vicodo My calendar tab, with no details or descriptions, so your agenda remains private. Learn more about Privacy&data protection here. |
Now you can adjust the synchronization. It takes only two steps! You need to decide:
- from which calendars, associated with the integrated account, Vicodo should get information about planned events
- to which one of your calendars Vicodo should add appointments planned by operators or booked by clients
2. Check for conflicts
No more booking conflicts, no need to add information about days off twice! If you have meetings planned in your primary calendar, your availability on Vicodo’s booking page will be updated accordingly. Your clients won't be able to book you while you are busy. You just need to decide which of your calendars you want to synchronize.
As you can have different external calendars assigned to one email account, you need to decide which of them should be synchronized with Vicodo. For example - you can choose your main calendar or calendars dedicated to particular event types. |
To choose the calendar, click the Edit button next to your email address in the Check for conflicts section. The dialog window opens, where you can turn on the connection. To save the changes click Update. You can change the settings anytime.
3. Add to calendar
Calendar Connect is a two-way integration. It means that you can see appointments scheduled by a booking page or those added by an operator in Vicodo on your external calendar.
In the Add to Calendar section, you can choose only one calendar to which meetings scheduled in Vicodo will be added.
Click the Edit button to open the dialogue window with the list of the connected accounts. Choose the account and the calendar. Click Update to confirm your choice.
From now on, every appointment scheduled in Vicodo will be visible right away in your external calendar. Meetings planned by booking page and those assigned to you by operators - everything at one place, keeping you on top of events!
|
If the synchronization is disconnected, you will be notified right away. To enable Calendar Connect, you just need to repeat the steps described above. |
Integrating Vicodo with Google calendar? This information is for you! In Google Calendar, you can create many sub-calendars associated with one account. If you decide to integrate one of them with Vicodo and you use the same email address that is associated with that calendar to log into the app, meetings created in Vicodo will be displayed twice in Google Calendar. You will see them in your main calendar, and integrated sub-calendar. This is normal Google Calendar behavior - the event is not doubled, it is just displayed twice. Your customers will not receive two invitations. |
4. Assigning operators
While creating an event, you can assign other operators to the meeting. If they have Calendar Connect integration set up, the appointment will appear in their external calendars.
5. Editing and removing events
If you decide to cancel the event or change its date and time in the Vicodo calendar, changes will be immediately applied to the integrated calendar. As Calendar Connect is a two-way integration, you can also edit meetings in your external calendar, and that will be reflected in Vicodo.
6. How to disconnect calendar integration?
To disconnect the calendar connection, go to Integrations settings and choose the Calendars tab. Click Disconnect and confirm your choice.
