There are occasions on which assigning a team member to your case is a must. We talk about times when you go on vacations, sick leave or you need to escalate a case. Sometimes you may need a backup or train a new employee. Or maybe your role is to assign appointments to your coworkers?
Whatever the reason, you can quickly assign team members to your cases within the app. Forget about writing emails with an explanation of where to find information about your customer, what the case is about, and what is the contact history. In Vicodo, everything is in one place, so anytime a team member joins your case, they have all the information needed to professionally handle the customer.
Make sure that the person you want to assign to the case has an active license, and that the Separate Operators feature is disabled.
How can I assign a case to my team member?
While creating a new case
You can add new cases from the dashboard or calendar and assign your team members to them right away. To do so, click on the gray plus icon in the Operators section. Choose the operator(s) from the list and click the Assign button to confirm.

By using the dashboard
If you want to add team member(s) to the case that has been already created, choose it from the active cases list on the left side of the dashboard. On the right bottom corner above the Complete button, you see your avatar. Next to it, there's a plus icon. Click to add another operator from the list.
By editing the appointment
After you choose a case from the list, click the pencil icon to open the Edit an Appointment dialogue window. Here, in the Operators section, you can add your team member(s) by clicking on the plus icon next to your avatar.
From the calendar
To add team member(s) to a case directly from the calendar, first, click on a chosen appointment. Next, click on the pencil icon. When the Edit the Appointment window appears, click the plus icon displayed next to your avatar. Choose operator(s) from the list and confirm by clicking the Assign button.
If you want to see who was assigned or managed the case previously, you can find all the details below the case header.
How to remove a team member from a case?
You can remove team members from cases by entering the case (in any way described in the previous section) and clicking on the chosen operator's avatar. When you hover over it, the cross will appear. Click and confirm your choice.
