How can I add the live chat widget to my site?
- Enable the plugin in the settings. You can also customize the text and colors.
- Switch to the Integration tab. There, you will see the code for the widget - give it to your website administrator and ask them to add it before the </body> section.
Where can I see incoming messages or video calls?
When a customer starts a chat or a call, you will see it on top of the case list, on the left side of the Vicodo dashboard. Click Join next case to start the conversation.
Can I receive a notification about new calls or chat conversations?
Of course! Go to your notification settings and decide what notifications you would like to receive. You can choose between:
- emails
- SMS messages
- desktop push notifications.
Tip: You don’t need to be logged in to receive notifications.
I want to hide the chat outside my working hours.
No problem! Just turn on the Online hours switch in the bottom section of the settings and set your schedule. Then you can choose to disable the chat when you are offline.
I want to cooperate with my team. How can I do that?
If you have already invited your teammates and assigned a license to them, they will receive a notification about every new case - provided that they have enabled the notifications before. They can also set their case list filters to “All” to see each new conversation at the top of the list.
