You can enable notifications to receive information about new cases created with API or the live chat & video widget as soon as they appear.
How to turn on notifications
- Go to the Notifications tab in the settings.
- Choose which notifications you want to receive. There are three available types:
You can choose as many types as you need. To find out more about each of them, click on the links above.
If you want to make sure that everything works correctly, use the Send test notification option and see if you receive a message:
You will only see the notifications if your status is active. To ensure that you will receive messages, open the Settings on your Vicodo dashboard and make sure that the status switch is green: |
Notification types:
-
Email
We will send notifications to the email address that you use for logging in to Vicodo. If you want us to deliver them to a different address, change it in your profile settings.
-
SMS
To receive notifications via SMS, you need to enter your phone number in the profile settings.
Remember that these notifications count toward your general SMS limit. For example: you have only ten SMS messages left. You received two notifications about new cases and sent three SMS invitations to your customers. That means you only have five SMS messages left.
-
Desktop push
Desktop push notifications are pop-up messages displayed directly in the corner of your screen. To receive them, you need to use a desktop device and make sure that it is not in a Do not disturb mode.
