Calendar is a tool that will give you a clear overview of your scheduled appointments and let you easily plan new ones. It will make managing your daily workflow simpler, and your customer interactions more efficient.
In this article you can find out:
- how to change the look of your calendar
- how to navigate it
- how to see cases of your team (or unassigned ones)
- how to schedule or edit your appointments.
1. Different calendar views
To make browsing through cases more convenient, you can switch between the daily, weekly, or monthly overview of your appointments. To do that, click the button in the upper right corner and select one of the options from the list:
You can also choose the agenda view. It allows you to see all your meetings from that week in the form of a list. The past appointments are marked grey, and the upcoming ones are marked blue:
If you would like to change the time zone of your calendar, you can do that by clicking the settings icon in the upper right corner and selecting a new one:
Remember that your meetings will not be automatically rescheduled. For example, if your initial time zone was UTC +2 and the appointment time was set to 9 AM, when you change your time zone to UTC +4, the meeting will appear to be scheduled at 11 AM, and not at 9 AM.
2. Navigating through the calendar
If you want to see the meetings scheduled for the next (or the previous) day, week, or month, you can use the arrows at the top of the page:
You can also go directly to any chosen day. Click on the current date at the top of the screen to open a calendar and select a different one:
To immediately go back to the current day, week, or month, click the icon.
3. Displaying cases of your team members and unassigned cases
The calendar lets you keep track not just of your own appointments, but also of the schedule of your other team members. To change which meetings are currently displayed, click on the Team button at the top of the page:
You can choose to show:
- only your meetings
- cases of everyone from your team
- only unassigned cases
- appointments of one or more chosen operators - provided that they have an active license.
If you don’t see the button and can only display your own cases, it means that your administrator has turned on the Separate operators option. It helps protect your and other operators’ privacy.
4. Scheduling and rescheduling appointments
With the calendar, you can plan and reschedule appointments with just several clicks. Find out how to do it in these articles:
You can also use the calendar to schedule multiple appointments for a single case.
