In this onboarding guide, we will walk you through the 5 setup steps. You will learn how to:
- Adjust Vicodo to your branding without a single line of code
- Create cases, manage your clients, and schedule meetings
- Set up your booking page
- Lead video meetings directly on your website
- Integrate Vicodo with tools you already use
In each step, we will redirect you to the detailed support articles using blue links and to the Vicodo settings using green links, so you can apply the changes as you read through the instructions.
1. Branding - from custom colors to custom domain
As you log in to Vicodo for the first time, click on the icon displayed next to your name, and select settings.
- Go to the Branding tab in settings. In the General Brading tab, enter your company name, upload the logo and favicon, so your customers will easily recognize you.
- You can edit all colors and texts of all pages and messages visible to your guests. Get creative and edit the Invitation page, Thank you page, invitation e-mails, and SMS messages. Explore the full range of branding possibilities.
- Go one step further and set up your custom domain or subdomain. Instead of Vicodo, your guests will see your domain name in their browsers.
2. Case & meeting creation - everything in one place
Click the icon to get back to the dashboard. Here you create cases, lead conversations, and manage your customers.
- You can think of cases as a combination of the client’s ticket and profile. Within a case, we store the chat history, all attachments and files you sent, custom fields, your notes, and information about scheduled meetings.
- You create new meetings from the case level. Here you decide if it’s an Individual or Group call. You can also open the calendar, click twice on the empty time slot and create or select a case for a newly scheduled meeting.
3. Let your clients decide when to meet
- Set up your booking page and allow your clients to decide when to meet. Of course, you set up your availability first!
- Return to the branding settings for a while and make your booking page all about you, your company, your product… You can change its look as often as you need. Promoting your new webinar? Upload a graphic to the background! Seasonal sale? Change the background photo within a few clicks.
4. Live chat & video website widget - direct communication on your website
- Use Vicodo to lead video meetings directly in the chat window on your website. Go to the Integrations tab in settings, and click on the toggle to enable this feature. Now you can answer page visitors faster without having to schedule meetings. Human-to-human interaction for increased sales, engagement, and retention.
- Start by adjusting the chat window to fit it to your website - set colors, texts, and position on the page. You can also create texts in several languages. Your guests will see them in a language matching their browser settings.
- To integrate the live chat with your website or application, you can copy the code displayed in settings and configure the integration manually or use the WordPress plugin.
5. Integrate Vicodo with tools you already use
- Start from our built-in integration: Calendar connect. You can synchronize your external calendar with Vicodo to avoid scheduling conflicts.
- Use Zapier to connect Vicodo with the tools that streamline your workflow. Here, you can learn how to connect it with Slack.
- Besides Zapier, you can use Webhooks and our API to integrate Vicodo with other software you use. Here you can find our documentation.
Remember, you can always edit your setup - Vicodo grows, changes, and evolves with your company!
